About Ghassan

Built from both sides of the ecosystem.

For more than two decades, I’ve led alliances and partner marketing across enterprise technology, from regional markets to global organizations and from the technology company’s side to the partner’s. At Cisco, OpenText, Databricks, and Koantek, I learned how growth decisions change with the scale of the business and how to turn those decisions into partner programs that teams can use. I bring that operating perspective to executive leadership and strategic advisory work.

The journey

Enterprise scale.
Builder’s instinct.

My early work with Extreme Networks, 3Com, and Trend Micro taught me that partner strategy only matters when people in the market can put it to work. After living and working in Dubai for more than two decades, I learned to adapt the same ambition to very different customers, markets, and teams.

At Cisco and AppDynamics, my regional and global roles spanned SMB, Commercial, Enterprise, Service Provider and Customer Experience. At OpenText, I served as Channel Chief for the global SMB cybersecurity business and launched Accelerate to unify partner programs across Zix, Carbonite and Webroot. At Databricks, I built global partner marketing, established the MDF framework, co-created Built on Databricks and presented in a partner session at the Data + AI Summit.

Leading alliances, marketing, and enablement at Koantek put me on the partner side of that ecosystem. I saw firsthand what it takes to turn platform priorities into a position customers understand, a motion sellers will use, and a practice teams can deliver. That experience reinforced a simple belief: growth happens when strategy, story, and capability move together.

How I work

Make the strategy usable.

01

Start with relevance

Understand the customer problem, where the partner adds value, and why the relationship should matter now.

02

Connect the teams

Bring alliances, marketing, and sales around one value proposition, clear priorities and a practical way to execute.

03

Build what lasts

Give sellers and delivery teams the confidence, tools, and operating rhythm to make progress repeatable.

Ways to work together

Lead the function. Shape the next stage.

For CEOs, CROs, and alliance leaders at technology companies, data consultancies, and AI ISVs.

Executive leadership

Strategic advisory

Executive impact

Leadership measured by business results.

Selected results across partner strategy, marketing and enablement. Regional and global leadership spanning the Americas, EMEA and APJ.

Lebanese roots, more than two decades in Dubai, and now based in Southern California, with leadership experience spanning the U.S., EMEA, and APJ. Working across cultures has shaped the way I listen, build trust, and find common ground. Some of the best conversations start over coffee.
